The small bag holds 1.5 cups and the larger bag holds 4 cups.

To serve: spoon out the amount you wish to serve your bird. A serving is approximately the size of your bird's head. Add a very SMALL amount of liquid, just enough to wet it a tiny bit. Fluff the chop around with a fork and serve. The chop can be rehydrated with water or fruit juice  or may be served dry.

Very convenient

I only have one parrot—a 20-year-old female sun conure. While I do the time to grow fresh sprouts and, on occasion, microgreens for her, serving a variety of fresh vegetables and fruit is much more challenging since it requires making a large batch and storing it in the freezer. This is super convenient, and she loves the crunchiness of the freeze-dried items. I don't even have to rehydrate it. I mix it with fresh sprouts and various nuts and seeds.

Easy to prepare

I have a single parrotlet who eats about a teaspoon of chop a day. It is very hard to prepare fresh or even freeze after making it, so I really appreciate making just the right amount every day.
