Texas Natural Freeze-Dried Parrot Chop is made with a colorful blend of fruits and vegetables, prepared and freeze-dried to create a convenient way to add diversity to your parrot's daily bowl.
Unlike traditional home-made chop that must be refrigerated or frozen, our freeze-dried Chop is shelf-stable and ready when you need it. Simply scoop out the amount you want and reseal the package-no thawing and no mushy leftovers.
Ingredients: Kale, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, bell peppers, yellow squash, zucchini, red and green cabbage, apples and strawberries.
Quart Bag: Approximately 4 cups.
How to Serve: Serve dry for a crunchy addition to your bird's bowl, or rehydrate with a small amount of water or organic, unsweetened fruit juice.
You can also add our Freeze-Dried Chop to your favorite bird bread recipes for an easy boost of fruit and vegetable variety.

This is the only fruit and vegetables my parrotlet will eat. I have been ordering it for years and have always recieved the highest quality freeze dried products. It is easy to travel with and easy to leave/use when boarsing him. The seller is amazing and quick to reply to emails. She went above and beyond making sure I had food when I desperately needed it.
When it comes to food, parrots can be finicky. I make veggies available daily hoping they will partake. This freeze dried version is easy to serve dry or dampened. Usually the order arrives within a week. Should there be a shortage or delivery delays they communicate clearly.

My cockatiel EZ loves your chop!
As I am sure you may know, cockatiels can be picky eaters, and my new baby bird EZ loves your mix. I introduced the Freeze Dried Chop, moistened and mixed with his old seed mix, on day one when he was just 8 weeks old and on an all-seed diet. He picked at it at first, but I just kept giving it to him everyday and every meal and he just started eating it and really picked through and consumed it. We are a fan and making another purchase right now.
