Our Freeze-Dried Chunky Parrot Chop is made with the same colorful fruit and vegetable blend as our Original Chop, but instead of being finely shredded, the ingredients are sliced into larger pieces.
The chunkier texture is especially fun for parrots that enjoy picking up and holding their food while they eat. And because the pieces can easily be broken into smaller bites, Chunky Chop can be enjoyed by birds of many sizes.
Like our Original Chop, it's freeze-dried for a convenient, shelf-stable way to add fruit and vegetable variety to your bird's bowl-without chopping, freezing, thawing, or wasted leftover.
Ingredients: kale, green cabbage, red cabbage, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, yellow squash, bell peppers, apples and strawberries.
Size: Approximately 4 cups
How to Serve: Serve dry for a crunchy addition to your bird's bowl or rehydrate with a small amount of water. Larger pieces can easily be broken into smaller bites when needed.

You cannot beat this freeze dried chunky chop for its ease and ingenuity as a fantastic chop for pet birds. I only use Texas Natural Freeze Dried Products for my pet green cheek's chop. She loves this chop but it has too much cabbage and carrots and unfortunately my bird doesn't like either one of those items so they are wasted. I need to remember to get a different chunky custom veg mix next time. Other than that, it's great. If they could be swapped out for green and red peppers, I'd give 5 stars!! :)
Hi I suggest you try the customizable Big Bite Chop. This variety will allow you to choose the ingredients that your bird prefers.
I GET THE CHUNKY CHOP FOR MY SENEGAL TO EAT. SHE ISN'T TOO KEEN ON THE STRAWBERRIES BUT I WILL CRUSH THEM UP SO SHE DOESN'T KNOW WHAT IT IS.
HAVING THE FREEZE DRIED CHOP MAKES IT SO MUCH EASIER FOR ME TO GIVE MY BIRDS A HEALTHY MEAL.
